I was so excited when Staci of The Edge Dance Studio called me to do pictures for her studio! I danced when I was young and love, love, love to see good dancing. I also love that Miss Emme will shake her grove thang at a moments notice and I secretly cannot wait until she puts on her first little pair of ballet slippers. So, to be able to photograph dancers - what a fun job!! The studio pics made for a long day, but the costumes were fabulous and the dancers were super fun. The recital proved a bit more challenging. It took some time for me to find my grove and embrace the spotlights and awkward place I was positioned at to the side of the stage. However, I loved every second of it. And often found myself not clicking because I was mesmerized by the dancers! Check out the Edge if you are looking for a studio for your little one this fall. Here are a few of my faves.
